Russian and Chinese buzzing of U.S. planes and warships

Posted by John Reed on

On the Russian and Chinese planes buzzing U.S. ships and unarmed planes. First, Obama and the U.S. military should not mention it. If a tree falls in the forest and no hears it, does it make a sound? And if a Russian or Chinese plane buzzes a U.S. plane or warship, and no one knows but those physically present, who cares?.The enemy does this to show they can push the U.S. around and get away with it and to piss us off. Accordingly, don’t mention it. Don’t whine about it. Don’t tell about it. Don’t run to your mommy, or...

Parris Island training versus West Point and Coast Guard Rescue

Posted by John Reed on

I was watching Weather Channel shows about plane crashes when they suddenly switched to a documentary about Parris Island Marine Basic Training. The Marines often claim to be better than the Army. If I write more books about him, my Unelected President Mike Medlock may assign the Army and Marines parallel missions in a war. The losing service in the competition ceases to exist. Obama sends B-52s to Iraq

Posted by John Reed on

The Air Force sent B-52s to Iraq. If they do Arc Light strikes with them—a plane load of 2,000 pound bombs—expect IS to leave Syria and Iraq. We hit Hanoi with them during Vietnam and the POWs said the guards at the Hanoi Hilton were totally freaked out by it. It is hard to overstate the physical and psychological effect of B-52 strikes on the targeted enemy. IS members will not feel jihad is fun anymore. They will also thereafter prefer the old ball and chain to 72 virgins.I experienced one of those in Vietnam. We saw nothing and heard...

SEAL hype now even attacked by SEALs

Posted by John Reed on

I have been complaining for years about military special ops hype including the marines, rangers, airborne, and especially the SEALs. Now even some SEALs are attacking fellow former SEALs about it. Encroaching on Army and Air Force turf First, the very idea of the SEALs is a rogue project. The Navy is the defense unit that operates in a salt-water environment. The name SEAL stands for Sea, Air, Land. Excuse me but air and land were assigned to the Air Force and Army. It was in all the papers. Famous for ‘tough’ training not victories Second, the reputation of the SEALs is based...
